Powell, who has been working as first team coach at Leicester City under Sven Goran Eriksson, has signed a three-and-a-half year contract and will officially take up the post on Monday.

The TelecityGroup CEO picked up the coveted trophy from Giles Broadbent, editor of award sponsor The Wharf.
