The final part of the Docklands Light Railway's £500million upgrade opened to the public this morning.
The extension between Canning Town and Stratford International started taking paying passengers from 11am, exactly 24 years to the day since the DLR first opened.
Uncertainty surround the date the new DLR extension between Canning Town and Stratford will be open to passengers.
There have been reports that the line will be operational on August 29, but Transport for London has refused to confirm this. The £211million link was due to open this summer but has been dogged by technical problems.

Eurostar hasn't completely dismissed the notion of stopping at Stratford, but admits it has "no immediate plans" to do so.
Stratford International station had been billed as London's second Eurostar station before it opened in 2006, but it remains out in the cold in the current set-up.

As late workers and midweek drinkers ambled to the DLR late last Wednesday, some spotted a slightly longer train pulling into the platform.
It may not have been in operation, but this was the first sighting of DLR's new three-car trains on the Bank to Lewisham line.
