Things have taken a dramatic change for the better for The Lions after beating League Two strugglers Dagenham and Redbridge 5-0 in the FA Cup third round replay and then getting a vital 3-1 win at Barnsley in the League last Saturday.

Former Addicks boss Alan Pardew ensured his old side did not get a much wanted win against him in his first full season away from The Valley.

It was Pardew's Southampton who ruined Charlton's winning start to the season with a draw in September in south London, and on Saturday the Saints stole all three points.

It's going to be an intriguing test for Millwall this weekend, as Southampton roll into the Den.

Following their cup exit in the week, Millwall face a side who have worked hard to shake off the crutch of a ten-point deduction, but still need some points to stop them from wobbling.
