Not only did HMS Lancaster have its appointment with the Queen cancelled it also took a hit on its way in to Canary Wharf.

The Queen has been forced to cancel her visit to Canary Wharf after being hospitalised with a stomach bug.

Her majesty was due to take a tour of her own warship, HMS Lancaster which is moored on the edge of the estate, on Tuesday but will not be making any official appointments this week.

The Queen's own warship is paying a week-long visit to Canary Wharf - and her patron will be dropping by to take a tour.
