Canary Wharf Group could be set to redevelop Shell's headquarters in Waterloo following reports it has won the contract to carry out the work.

A deal is to be announced in the next few days, according to the Sunday Times. During the works many of Shell's staff will relocate to Canary Wharf's Bank Street.

Shell is in negotiations with Canary Wharf Group to relocate to Docklands for the next 10 years.

The petrol giant, which is currently based near Waterloo, is hoping to move to 40 Bank Street when it starts redeveloping its current offices next year.
