Isle of Dogs footballer Sam Kennedy has signed for an American soccer team as he pursues his dream of a professional career.

Kennedy, 21, has signed for semi-professional outfit DFW Tornados, based in Dallas, and this summer will play for them in the US Premier Development League, just one rung below Major League Soccer.
