The O2 has been crowned the world's number one music venue for the fifth year in a row after outselling all its rivals.

The arena sold 1,927,600 tickets last year, smashing its previous record of 1,737,654 tickets set in 2010. It sold almost three quarters of a million more tickets than its nearest rival according to industry magazine Pollstar.

The O2 has picked up another honour after being named as the top arena in the world at the Billboard Awards.

It's the first time The O2 has won the award, taking the accolade from Madison Square Garden which has it won for the last five years.
