Frenchman P-Y Gerbeau was the man parachuted into the Dome at an early stage of its year as the Millennium Experience following a disappointing start.

P-Y, now chief executive of X-Leisure which owns West India Quay, arrived from EuroDisney and impressed with his management of the ill-fated project.

PY Gerbeau has never been back to the Millennium Dome. A decade ago the Frenchman was parachuted in from Disneyland Paris to the ill-fated, government-backed venue following its disastrous start.

His stay was, on the whole, successful and you would think he would be only too pleased to have watched an occasional pop act there while reminiscing over old times.
