JLS announce O2 Arena dates

JLS.jpgX Factor success story JLS return to the O2 Arena in March.

The multi award-winning four-piece sold out their last arena tour and are hoping to do the same next year.

The go-ahead has been given to the planned Thames Cable Car linking Greenwich Peninsula and Royal Docks.

The Greater London Authority gave final permission for the scheme which will carry up to 2,500 passengers an hour between The O2 arena and Excel.

Supercross stars went head to head in the air and on the dirt to race for British Supercross Championship titles at the O2 arena on Saturday.

The high octane event saw a fleet of tipper trucks transform the arena into an obstacle course using 2,250 tons of dirt to create a track for the pro racers.

Tim Minchin to play The O2

Promising heaps of new material as well as reworkings of familiar songs, he will be joined by Jules Buckley and the Heritage Orchestra.

Thames Clippers will be providing additional shuttle services between London Bridge and Canary Wharf tomorrow if the 48-hour tube strike proceeds as planned at 6.59pm tonight.

Extra services will also operate between Greenland Pier and Canary Wharf during the morning peak.
