Still mulling over the comedy connections from Thursday's star-studded press night for Government Inspector at the Young Vic during which we actually touched the hem of Noel Fielding's garment (or rather his cape-let fluttered in to our path as we crossed on the stairs).

"The downside of being a comedian is that you always get people asking you to tell them jokes," says comedian Dan Clark.

"In public people do ask you to tell them a joke when you get introduced as a comedian. I suppose that's fair, because they quite often need proof."
