NARROW Street will again celebrate August Bank Holiday with a traditional fete this year.

Locals will flock to Ropemaker’s field for fancy dress, stalls, Pearly Kings and Queens and Punch and Judy shows on August 25.

Limehouse's own village fete was cooked up in The Grapes in Narrow Street three years ago, and has been opened by famous residents such as Ian McKellen and Cleo Rocos.

The event attracts a large number of volunteers from around the area, and there is still time to get involved.
