Gianfranco Zola's Hammers side held table-toppers Liverpool to a draw on their own patch - and were a whisker away from taking all three points back to East London.

Keeper Robert Green pulled off a string of saves to thwart Liverpool's early onslaught, and Craig Bellamy's first half shot bounced agonisingly clear off the inside of a post.

Mark Noble and Jonathan Spector are back from injury and could both feature in tonight's big match at Liverpool.

The duo are welcome additions to the squad which is hoping to back up last weekend's win at Sunderland by getting a result at Anfield.
