A spirited performance and a late goal saw the Addicks take their automatic promotion hopes into the last game of the season against Oldham next week.

Akpo Sodje's header was deflected past his own goalkeeper by Richard Naylor in the closing minutes to see off a Leeds side who were pushing forward for the winner.

The Addicks crashed to their first defeat of the season against Colchester United on Tuesday night.

An own goal from Miguel Llera and two strikes from the U's on-loan Barnsley striker Kayode Odejayi made it a disappointing return to Essex for Charlton boss Phil Parkinson.
