British Airways is resuming flights from London City Airport to the Isle of Man from the end of this month after a five year break.

The move fills the void created by Aer Arann when it pulled out of the route last month to focus on a newer business model.

AER Arann has arrived at London City Airport to add extra flights to the Isle of Man.

From January the Irish carrier will operate three flights each way every week day using its 72 seater aircraft.

THE ISLE of Man TT race begins next weekend and extra flights are being put on at London City Airport for the occasion.

VLM Airlines has three return flights to the island from its London hub on Friday May 30, Saturday May 31 and Saturday June 7.
