A frozen pitch robbed the Bees and Rovers of their clash, but it was former Forest player Kris Commons who denied the Lions a chance to have a ball to themselves in the draw on Sunday.

So Millwall will still be in the FA Cup in January.

Last night, there was no euphoric talk of the "magic of the cup", no milkmen dancing in the changing rooms, no embarrassed silences. Staines took the Lions to a replay, but no further.
