The Fans' Roar by Ian Toal

No sooner do Millwall uncover a gem of a player, he promptly gets injured!

Millwall’s new left-winger Dave Martin, signed from Crystal Palace, put in a man of the match display, scoring the winning goal on his home debut against Southend last Tuesday. But then he limped off a few minutes before the end of the match.

The news of him being out injured for two weeks when games are coming thick and fast, just about sums up our luck on the injury front this season. Hopefully it will not be any more than two weeks as his pace, trickery and skills are some of the things we have been missing from the team ever since Chris Hackett and Ryan Smith suffered long-term injuries just a few games into the season.
