Spectators heading to Greenwich for equestrian events during next year's Olympic Gams will be able to cruise there along the River Thames.
Pleasure boat company City Cruises has announced an extended service to ferry spectators from central London to Greenwich Pier during the Olympics and Paralympics. Boats will run every 15 minutes.

Most Londoners would jump at the chance to avoid being swallowed and spat out by the tube every morning.
Think tank Policy Exchange believe the best way to achieve this is by making better use of the river. The group has released a paper outlining how this may work.

Thames Clippers will be providing additional shuttle services between London Bridge and Canary Wharf tomorrow if the 48-hour tube strike proceeds as planned at 6.59pm tonight.
Extra services will also operate between Greenland Pier and Canary Wharf during the morning peak.
