With a little help from a local music legend, Boisdale says it is planning to revolutionise Canary Wharf's live entertainment market.

As well as claiming the world's largest whisky bar, a cigar smoking terrace and fine Scottish dining, the venue, which is due to open in premises above Cabot Place mall on April 18, is also aiming to bring crowds flocking to its music hall.

A restaurant famed for fine Scottish food, whiskies, cigars and live music is coming to Canary Wharf after Boisdale completed a deal to move to Cabot Square.

The group, which has two other venues in London, will begin work on the £2.7million development with the aim of opening for business at the beginning of next year.
