The Isle of Dogs-based motorcycle team has spent the winter gearing up for the new British Superbikes season, which starts at Brands Hatch in early April, and thought they had secured sponsorship to get them to the line.

While top level sport is always awash with cash those further down the food chain often find funding harder to come by.

Mist Suzuki, the smallest privately owned team in British Superbikes, are a prime example as budget constraints ended their season prematurely.
