A luxury car event in Greenwich is set to accelerate James Bond fans to 007 heaven on Sunday.

This year's Motorexpo, which will dominate Canary Wharf from June 11-17, promises to be the most potent show in the event's 16-year history, hosting a range of high-profile debuts, a pair of glamorous auctions and attracting around 425,000 people. The free showcase will feature more than 250 vehicles on display including a first look for UK audiences at the Jaguar XF Sportbrake concept, the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe, the latest Mercedes A-Class and the new Kia Cee'd.

Despite the economic crisis biting to the bone in the car industry, Canary Wharf's motor show has seen solid support from manufacturers.

Visitors can expect a strong showing at this year's London Motorexpo including the UK debut of 13 new vehicles and a chance to get behind the wheel of some of them.
