Players have been pulled up by the referee for a foul on the Belgian 96 times so far this season, the equivalent of three times a game.

That’s almost 20 more than the next most fouled player, Raheem Sterling, who has been the subject of 77 fouls awarded to Liverpool this season, 2.6 per game.

Sadio Mane has the next highest number with 61 (2.4 per game).

Alexis Sanchez has also been the subject of 61 fouls, but has played in more games so has a ratio of 2.1 per game.

Everton’s Steven Naismith has had 58 fouls awarded in his favour this season, completing the top five.
