West Ham have been so impressed with loan star Manuel Lanzini that reportedly they want to sign him on a permanent deal.

With two goals and two assists, the Argentinian winger has made an impact which has seen the Hammers bosses open talks with UAE Al Jazira over his future. They want the deal done in case other Premier League clubs come hunting.

The 22-year-old is rated in the region £8million but the club hopes an early deal can secure a discount.

The club is looking to do key business in the summer, ahead of the move to Olympic Stadium, so is expecting a quiet transfer window.

Despite his impact, the winger still features in our look at the players who have been most substituted in the Premier League this season – a tally of six along with another loanee Victor Moses. The Chelsea striker has not completed a full 90 minutes in the league this season.

Raheem Sterling tops with the league. The young England forward has been taken off the pitch by Manuel Pellegrini in eight of his nine Premier League starts this season the same number as Watford’s Almen Abdi.

It means that Sterling has only completed 90 minutes in one league match in 2015-16. In fact, his average time on the field for a league game has been just 69 minutes and 72 minutes in games in which he’s started.

West Brom’s Saido Berahino has been taken off on seven occasions by his manager Tony Pulis. Like Sterling he’s lasted the full 90 minutes just once for West Brom in the league this season.

Three other players have also been taken off seven times by their respective managers - Bafetimbi Gomis, Cameron Jerome and Wilfried Zaha.
