West Ham have joined the list of clubs getting ready to test Crystal Palace’s resolve in keeping star winger Yannick Bolasie.

Liverpool, Tottenham and Aston Villa are also said to be interested in the Congolese winger, but Palace manager Alan Pardew warned it would take a fortune to prise away the jewel in Palace’s crown.

Former Hammers boss Pardew initially put a £20million price tag on Bolasie when it emerged he was set to be a transfer target for a number of clubs this summer.

But Pardew’s valuation of Bolasie grew to “£40million to £60million” after he ended the season with a string of sparkling displays.

Bolasie joined Palace in August 2012 from Bristol City for around £400k, and helped them secure promotion to the Premier League that season and consolidate their position in the top flight.

He is currently contracted to Palace until 2017 after signing a new deal last summer.
