West Ham are on the hunt for another of Olympique Marseille’s hot shots.

Not content with the £10.9million signing of Dimitri Payet, Slaven Bilic plans to raid the French club’s roster once more with the signing of midfielder Mario Lemina.

Lemina is also wanted by Newcastle and West Brom, and OM seem to have replaced him already with the imminent arrival of Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby.

The 21-year-old has played 46 times for OM, and is expected to cost around £7million.

He was asked to represent Gabon at the Africa Cup of Nations this year, but refused the call-up, which suggests he may want to represent France at international level.

Meanwhile, QPR striker and long-term Hammers target Charlie Austin has hit back at his critics who have labelled him “greedy” for reported £85,000-a-week wage demands to leave QPR.

Tweeting a picture of Roger Hargreaves character Mr Greedy, the striker accompanied the picture with several “laughter” emojis.
