West Ham don’t yet look to be finished in the transfer market, as a former Leeds United winger and a highly-rated Dutch forward are on the club’s radar.
Not content with having Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia competing for the striking role, Slaven Bilic looks to have turned his attentions to Benfica’s £15million-rated forward Ola John.
Sakho is rumoured to be a target for Manchester United, so John’s future could probably be dependant on any move the Red Devils would make for Sakho. West Ham could also face competition from Crystal Palace and Swansea, who are also said to be monitoring the striker.
As Bilic’s attacking revolution takes shape, the club look as if they’re after some genuine pace to add to the side, with St Etienne’s Ivorian winger Max Gradel.
The former Leeds United man, who can also play up front, received rave plaudits when he helped the Yorkshire side to promotion from League One in 2010, and the Hammers would probably have to part with around £7million to bring him back to English football.
Gradel scored 17 goals in Ligue 1 last season, helping St Etienne to a fifth place finish.
