West Ham are said to be chasing Genk centre-back Kara Mbodj .
The Senegal international, also wanted by Newcastle United and Everton, was watched by scouts during the Belgian side’s friendly with Charlton on Wednesday.

Despite the £7.9million signing of Angelo Ogbonna, West Ham are still keen on the 25-year-old, who is rated at around £5million.
The 6ft 4ins defender is also able to play in defensive midfield, which is surely of interest to the Hammers as Kevin Nolan’s best days are behind him, while a deal for Alex Song has stalled.
Mbodj started his career at Tromso in Norway, before Genk were tempted to splash out £1million on him in 2012. He soon got to work – winning the Belgian Cup in his first season at the club.
