Galatasaray sporting director Cenk Ergün says the club will consider offers for West Ham target Burak Yilmaz if the price is right.
This could be music to the ears of Slaven Bilic, who is a long-time admirer of the Turkey international. West Ham chased Yilmaz in the summer, and put in an offer for him, according to Goal Turkey.
The Hammers supposedly had a £12million bid turned down, but the Istanbul club could be prepared to sell Yilmaz in January for the right price.
“Burak Yılmaz is a player who has scored over 60 goals in his last two seasons of course I think he is a very good striker,” Bilic was quoted as saying on Lig Tv.
There may well be competition for the striker, as Gala said they received an offer from Lazio in the summer transfer window.
“Yilmaz is a great striker, we received a lot of offers for him,” Cenk Ergun told Sky Sport Italia. “We even got one from Lazio. If a new proposal arrives we can sit down and talk about it. Everything depends on Burak Yilmaz wishes.”
The prolific striker has won the league title and the Turkish Cup twice since joining the club. He has scored 60 goals in his last two full seasons.
