West Ham have one of the football league’s best records when it comes to converting penalties over the last five seasons.

The Hammers have scored 90% of the 21 penalties they have been awarded in league games since 2010-11.

That’s the joint second best record behind Southampton who have scored 92% of their 26 penalties. Swansea are the side joint with West Ham on 90%.

Charlton come in 17th with a conversion rate of 83% and Millwall 30th with 80% just above Chelsea on 79%.

Brentford have the footballs league’s worst penalty conversion record. They’re followed by Huddersfield Town (61%), Crewe (62%), Wigan (also 62%) and Scunthorpe (63%).

All of these figures are only sides to have been in the top four English divisions for each of the last five seasons.
