Striker Steve Morison will return for his third season at Millwall .

He will join the Lions from Leeds as they embark on a season in League One following relegation from the Championship.

The south east London side stumped up an undisclosed fee for the forward to secure his services from the Yorkshire club in a one-year deal.

The 31-year-old Welsh international will be a familiar face to fans at The Den after spending two loan spells at Millwall, most recently netting five goals in 20 appearances during the 2013/14 season.

He may well help ease Neil Harris’ selection headache after Aiden O’Brien was sidelined through an injury suffered during a pre-season friendly with AFC Wimbledon on July 18.

The 21-year-old ruptured his ankle ligaments in the game and had to be carried off on a stretcher.

He will miss all fixtures in August at least.
