Striker Steve Morison could return to The Den as Millwall seek a new striker.
According to reports in the Coventry Telegraph, the 31-year-old is “surplus to requirements” at Leeds United and could be heading for the Lions.
He will be a familiar face to fans after spending two loan spells at the south east London club, netting five goals in 20 appearances during the 2013/14 season.
If he puts pen to paper, Morison could well step in to replace Millwall’s striker Aiden O'Brien who was injured during a pre-season friendly with AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, July 18.
The 21-year-old ruptured his ankle ligaments in the game and had to be carried off on a stretcher.
He will miss all fixtures in August at least.
