Patrick Bauer is hoping for a three point win against Nottingham Forest in tonight’s away game.

The defender told the club website that following a 1-1 draw against Derby at the iPro Stadium the aim is to enter the game with a positive attitude.

The 22-year-old said: “We’ve faced two strong teams in the league and we can be happy with the results.

“We can be very happy with the point against Derby because they showed that they have a very good team.

“They put a lot of pressure on us, but I think we defended well against them. Now we have to recover ahead of the Nottingham Forest game and we’ll be heading there looking to get three points.”

The German U20 player joined the Addicks from C.S Maritimo this summer and he told the club he has settled in to the UK well.

He said: “I’ve settled well here in England. I’ve played two league games now and I think I’ve done well and in the cup too.

“You can’t compare this league with the Portuguese league because it’s much stronger here in England.
