Millwall gaffer Neil Harris was full of praise for star striker Aiden O’Brien after the forward netted a brace to secure a win at Sheffield United.
The Lions proved their prowess away from home during a hard-fought game at Bramall Lane on Saturday, October 24.
The 22-year-old Irishman scored in each half, with his second cancelling out Jose Baxter’s 70th minute equaliser to leave the final score 1-2.
O’Brien now has seven goals to his name this season.
Harris praised his footwork, tenacity and the fact he was always on the go.
“He is always on the move and that is such an important quality in a striker,” he told Millwall FC's website .
“Yet again I was really impressed with all of my forward players for the way they pressed at the right times, created opportunities and got balls into the box.
“It wasn’t our best performance but there were a lot of warriors on the pitch for us.
“We put our faith in some young players and there were outstanding all game for us.
“It is a big result but we are not getting carried away.
“What we are doing, though, is looking up and not down which is important for a young group.
“What is pleasing from my point of view is everyone, including our fans and the opposition, now know exactly what they are going to get from this Millwall team.”
Next the Lions face Bradford at The Den on Saturday, October 31.
