West Ham may be sixth and showing signs of staying there but bookies still fall for the old "glamour clubs" when it comes to setting the odds.

The Wharf has taken an average of bookmakers' odds for every Premier League game this season to see how the league would look if the favourites always won.

Arsenal would have walked away as winners in 24 of their 25 games this season, going by the odds, leaving them with 72 points on the board as league leaders. And the usual suspects are clustered at the top.

Manchester Utd are third, despite their dismal showing in real games and, surprisingly (other otherwise) bottom-half club Chelsea are fourth, with the bookies assuming that the west Londoners will come good eventually.

West Ham are 13th according the favourites table with Leicester, the current table-toppers, in ninth.
