Greenwich Peninsula Golf has unveiled its driving range with visitors enjoyed an amazing view of the east London waterfront.

N1 Golf – the firm behind the range boasting 60 two-tier bays – opened last week.

It launched at the same time as the 3,000sq ft A1 Golf shop and Vinothec Compass restaurant, complete with a 500-bottle wine wall.

N1 Golf’s marketing director Phil Richins said he’d teed off from one of the top bays – straight into a pillar.

He said: “We are absolutely delighted by how things have gone.

“Some people were saying ‘We have been watching you go up, and thank God you’re now open’, others have said ‘Where did this come from?’.

“What was really exciting was there was a huge amount of kids coming down too.”
