Reebok Sports Club is aiming to bring the buzz of the 2015 Rugby World Cup to Canary Wharf by hosting its own five-a-side tournament.
Teams will need to be at the top of their game during the knockout extravaganza held in the gym’s Sports Hall throughout October.
Colleagues can buddy up while others eager for a spot of sporting glory can sign up for individual entry places.
Reebok Rugby World Cup entries require five team members as well as two subs.
The action kicks off on October 7 from 1.30pm, with a further elimination round on October 14, before competitive spirit soars during the October 21 final.
Prizes and goodie bags on offer for all players – but only the winners will boast bragging rights to Reebok Sports Club’s first tournament of its kind.
Two masterclasses – led by professionals – will ensure rugby recruits are ready for action.
First up, the gym will host a training session with England Women’s Rugby players Vicky Fleetwood and Fiona Pocock on September 23.
They will be putting teams through their paces between 4pm and 5.30pm.
The pair will follow the workout with a Q&A session so competitors can pick up personal training tips from Fiona and grill Vicky on the most effective pre-match nutrition.
Harlequins Rugby’s performance nutritionist David Dunne will also share his wealth of experience during a separate event.
He has seen success in a variety of sporting disciplines and is skilled at helping clients increase energy levels, performance and lean body mass as well as maximising recovery and reducing fat.
Tournament places cost £5 each and are open to members and non-members.

The Pearson Room will screen the tournament.
