The 19-year-old smashed three British records as she secured the title in the over 75kg category.
She claimed gold with a combined lift of 227kg in the snatch and clean and jerk categories.
That’s the equivalent of raising two elephant calves above her head.
After the championship in Klaipeda Lithuania she said: “It felt great to break the records and win gold.
“I’m now looking ahead to the Rio Olympics in 2016 as my next target.”
The East Ender juggles her weightlifting with sports and exercise studies at the University of East London , training five or six times a week.
Now in the second year of her course she said: “It’s hard to find time to fit in time to train and do my university work, especially with championships in other countries, but I can’t just lift forever.”
