Dimitri Payet has revealed that he is “100% staying” at West Ham despite garnering interest from other clubs after his performance at Euro 2016.
The 29-year-old Frenchman spoke to The Sun about his future and committed himself to the club.
The playmaker was instrumental in France’s recent European campaign, which saw them fall just short in the final as they lost 1-0 to Portugal in extra time.
He said: “I’ve heard about all the interest and I’m flattered but I love West Ham.
“We had a fantastic season and I can’t wait to play in the Olympic Stadium. I’m 100% staying at West Ham, I love the club. I can tell the Hammers fans that.”
Payet enjoyed a successful debut season at West Ham, having arrived from Marseille for a £10.7million transfer fee.
He scored 12 goals, recorded 13 assists and was named the club’s player of the year.
