Charlton fans at The Valley could be waving goodbye to Rhoys Wiggins as he prepares to put pen to paper on a deal at Sheffield Wednesday.
The Addicks’ left back could be leaving south-east London for a fee reported to be £750,000.
The Star believes his future could be decided as soon as Wednesday, July 29, despite the Welshman not undergoing a medical.
Injuries have hampered the progress of Wiggins, who moved to Charlton from Bournemouth in 2011.
He recently suffered an ankle injury in the Addicks’ friendly against Dulwich Hamlet but is believed to have since recovered.
He has played for Charlton just 20 times over the past three seasons.
