Guy Luzon’s continental revolution continues with the signing of France under-21 international Naby Sarr.
Charlton swooped for their seventh signing of the summer by giving Sporting Lisbon centre back Sarr a five-year deal.
The 21-year-old former Lyon defender joined Sporting last August and made four appearances in the Champions League, including having to mark Chelsea’s Diego Costa.
At 6ft 5ins, his frame became familiar to French fans, having been capped in Les Bleus’ under-21 team. He joins Charlton for an undisclosed fee.

“We needed another defender and Naby is the perfect fit,” Guy Luzon told the club’s official website.
“He is a player the club has been watching for a while and we nearly got him in January, but now we have done everything we can to get him this summer.
“He is strong, physical and another player who will do very well in the Championship.”
Sarr joins Simon Makienok, El-Hadji Ba, Ahmed Kashi, Cristian Ceballos, Zakarya Bergdich and fellow defender Patrick Bauer as part of Luzon’s recruitment drive ahead of the 2015/16 campaign which begins on August 8 against QPR.
