Injuries to Charlton’s first team players are the main worry for gaffer Guy Luzon ahead of his team’s next fixture.

The Addicks face Hull City at The Valley on August 22.

They will be striving to maintain an unbeaten start to the season - but Luzon admitted a handful of players would be hampered by injury.

He told Charlton’s team website there were question marks over both Chris Solly and Tony Watt.

While Solly is carrying an ankle injury, it is a calf niggle that might keep Watt from the starting line up.

The Israeli manager also offered updates on Igor Vetokele, Stephen Henderson and Reza Ghoochannejhad.

He said: “Reza will miss the next month. He played well when he came on against Nottingham but he’s hurt his knee and we will have to see how he is.

“Igor is not close to starting a match but he is close to coming back into the squad. That is the situation. I hope to have him available to be part of the squad next week.

“Henderson is also still injured but after the international break he should be close to coming back.”
