Charlton Athletic clinched their third win in the pre-season friendlies, beating Dagenham and Redbridge 2-0 at Victoria Road.

In an away match at their rivals’ ground in Essex, the Addicks managed to grab two goals, despite being without midfielder Jordan Cousins and striker Igor Vetokele.

The first goal for the Addicks came before half time from the Daggers’ Matt Partridge, who scored an own goal while diverting Chris Solly’s cross.

The game was sealed for Charlton from a free-kick crafted by young full-back Tareiq Holmes-Dennis - which can be seen above.

Next up for the Addicks in their preparations is an important home clash with West Ham at The Valley on Saturday, July 25, 3pm. The south London side will be boosted by the new four-year contract for Icelandic midfielder Johann Berg Gudmundsson.
