Blackheath Cricket Club have stormed this season securing themselves a place in the National Club Championship Final for the first time since 1981.
The club achieved a 95 run home victory over premier club Bath on Sunday, August 30, which means they will now be playing in the championship final on Sunday, September 20.
Blackheath are hoping to add to their county T20 crown in the deciding clash against Liverpool and District Competition side Northern CC at the Kent County Ground in Beckenham.
Blackheath last played in the championship final in 1981, when they lost to Scarborough. If they win this year it will be the first time since 1971, when they beat Ealing.
The club is based at Blackheath Rugby Football Club’s ground in Rectory Field, Charlton Road.
