A Singapore-based developer wants to bring West End chic to Camberwell with the launch of its latest luxury development.

Property developer Frasers says it have given Camberwell Green a makeover, providing stylish apartments and boutique retail outlets.

The six-storey residential building provides 92 studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments.

The flats are priced from £446,000 to £906,000.

The sales launch began on Wednesday, September 16, at the Kia Oval Cricket ground September, from 11am to 5pm.

Situated on Camberwell Road, overlooking the historic Camberwell Green gardens, the apartments are designed around a private courtyard garden.

Simon Lear of Frasers said: “Camberwell Green is in the middle of a huge regeneration programme and is on the doorstep of Zone 1.

“The south bank area is becoming very popular with young professionals, couples and investors who appreciate the good transport links to both the City and West End.

”Our Camberwell On The Green apartments will set a new benchmark for quality and style in the local new homes market.”

Designed by award winning architect Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher, Camberwell On The Green has a contemporary façade with features including expanses of glazing, bronze metal paneling, grey brickwork, balconies and rooftop terraces.

In the flats, living and dining rooms open onto either terraces or balconies, with floor-to-ceiling glazing and large windows providing a bright and spacious ambience.

The bespoke, fully fitted kitchens will feature reconstituted stone worktops, integrated appliances and stylish flourishes such as under cabinet lighting and mirrored splash backs.

In the larger apartments, the luxurious master bedroom suites have en suite facilities and some have walk-in dressing areas.

All the apartments will also be fitted with engineered wood flooring, comfort heating and fresh air filtration systems, bathrooms will be fitted with bathtubs, white sanitary ware, ceramic tiling and chrome brasswork.

Frasers’ director of sales and marketing David Skelton said: “Camberwell is very cosmopolitan, residents at Camberwell On The Green will be able to take advantage of a wide range of international food, fine art and exciting events right on their doorstep.”

The development is a short walk away from Denmark Hill rail station and the major transport hub of Victoria Station is under 15 minutes away. Canary Wharf is just 20 minutes by Tube.

Residents of Camberwell Road can cycle to Elephant And Castle in 10-minutes, where they will be able to use one of London’s planned Cycle Superhighways, a dedicated stretch of road specifically for cyclists, opening mid-2016.
