A street food market has launched at the London Dock development in Wapping.

A range of vendors will be selling their wares at a pop-up park every Wednesday in August from 11am to 4pm.

Developer St George has opened up the 12,000sq ft landscaped space over the summer to give the public a first glimpse of the site.

Once home to Rupert Murdoch’s News International, it is being transformed into a development of 1,800 homes and more than 200,000sq ft of boutique shops, independent restaurants, artisan workshops and a secondary school for 1,200 pupils.

St George City managing director Craig Carson said: “The temporary pop up park will be the first taste of what is to come over the next few years at London Dock, and we look forward to welcoming our neighbours and visitors this great new space.”

One, two and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses are available at London Dock with prices starting at £869,950.
