Check out the closest thing there is to affordable housing at the Homematch Property Show on June 20.
There will be hundreds of properties to buy and rent across London and the south east at the free event hosted by housing association Metropolitan
Visitors can talk to representatives from property organisations about homes available through low cost home ownership schemes such as shared ownership. Tower Hamlets properties include three bedroom homes in Poplar and Wapping.
Also at the event will be presentations on the buying process and advice from Which? Mortgage Advisers and representatives from credit information provider Experian. There will also be a Help to Buy stand, where show-goers can find out more about the government-backed initiative and the properties available through it.
Head of home ownership services at Metropolitan, Colin McLennon, said: “The Homematch Property Show is an essential date in the diary for people who are looking to buy their first home but are concerned that the housing market has left them behind. Our exhibitors offer homes all over London and the home counties through schemes such as shared ownership, which make getting on the property ladder more affordable.”
The Homematch Property Show takes place at the Hotel Russell in west London between 11am and 4pm on Saturday, June 20.
