Estate agency Fine And Country has opened a branch in Bow.
The new office joins the brand’s global network of more than 300 stores across the world and three existing London ones in Mayfair, Fulham and Sydenham.
Fine And Country east London business partner Adam Tahir said: “A few decades ago, a prime residential estate agency with a worldwide reputation would not have thought to open a branch in this part of the city, but the continuing urban regeneration of east London and a thriving job market has made this the perfect move for us.
“While Fine And Country is best known for sprawling country mansions, we are going to make our office just as well known for exclusive urban homes.
“The mix of residential properties from the best traditional houses and flats to trendy waterside apartments and uber-cool converted warehouses represents huge opportunity for us.”
And the move is also a chance for Mr Tahir to go back to his roots.
He said: “I was born in a London hospital and grew up in the East End.
“Since starting my career I’ve been able to venture out to all areas of London as an estate agent, so it’s going to be fantastic to come back to my roots and work as a director alongside such a strong brand as a partner.
“I’ve seen an ever-changing history and transformation of residential landscape in east London over the years.
“The East End in particular is one of the most vibrant areas of close-communities I’ve seen anywhere in London.
“New ventures like art galleries, gastropubs, high class restaurants and boutiques continue to spring up in this area. These incredible ventures and the considerable improvement to the area’s travel links is creating unparalleled demand for luxury properties.
“Our portfolio will include a range of new-build luxury homes as well as the best existing properties in the area.
“To complement our sales team, we will have a dedicated lettings department dealing with prime lets and ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service.”
The office opens on Caspian Wharf in Violet Road on Thursday, March 3.
