Aberfeldy Village in Poplar has been hailed a success by its developer, with only a few homes remaining in its current phase.

Prime Place has revealed the homes had been selling well after the latest batch of properties was launched.

Sales and marketing director Sue Gresswell said: “Aberfeldy Village is a magnet for young professionals looking for a smart contemporary home at an affordable price close to Canary Wharf.

“It ticks the boxes with an excellent specification, parking spaces and great transport links, but more than this it’s becoming a real community.

“We recently opened our linear park, an open green space running through the heart of the development where residents can relax and socialise.

“And with more community facilities planned in future phases, this is a great time to buy.”

There is a choice of a studio, one or two-bedroom flats with prices starting from £304,995.

Prime Place said its apartments had higher than usual ceilings with full height windows as well as a spacious open plan living room, kitchen and dining area that opens on to a large balcony or terrace.

The kitchens include integrated appliances, composite stone work surfaces, cabinets without handles and feature lighting.

Residents have access to private parking and nearby transport links including the Newham Way thoroughfare, Canning Town and East India DLR stations.

Aberfeldy Village is a joint venture between Prime Place and Poplar HARCA, with the £250million project being delivered in six phases over 10 years.

When completed, it will provide more than 1,000 homes and an energy centre along with retail, community and health facilities.
