More than 3,000 people have registered for homes in the new residential development on the Canary Wharf estate.

10 Park Drive went on sale on Thursday, July 9 at 10am, with eager buyers starting to queue more than 24 hours before.

The homes are available to UK-based buyers with 345 apartments currently on sale and prices starting from £395,000 for a studio.

The development, which will include 74 studios, 115 one-bedroom apartments, 141 two-bedroom apartments and 15 three-bedroom apartments, is set to be complete by 2019.

Canary Wharf Group’s head of residential Brian De’ath said: “We have received more than 3,000 registrations in a very short space of time, and seeing around one hundred buyers queue illustrates the high levels of demand for people wanting to live on the Canary Wharf Estate.

“10 Park Drive is an attractive residential address, which will be surrounded by over 300 shops and restaurants, open spaces and some of the best transport links in London. We’re really excited to welcome the first of many who will be able to call Canary Wharf their home.”

The final development will include 3,200 homes - a quarter of which will be affordable - with the capacity in the future to build a further 400 new homes.
