Waterside warehouses were the inspiration behind the design of a set of 27 apartments that have recently launched in Greenwich.

The one, two and three-bedroom homes at Charters Wharf overlook Deptford Creek and are around a five minute walk from Greenwich town centre.

Developer Family Mosaic said buyers could benefit from increasing property prices in the area, stating values in Greenwich had increased by 25% since 2011. The maritime design features are present in the from of structural and architectural details inspired by the waterside warehouses that once resided in area.

Situated in Zone 2, Charters Wharf is connected to the centre of the capital via the Thames Clippers commuter ferries, Greenwich Station for trains into London Bridge or the DLR at Cutty Sark.

Canary Wharf can be reached using foot and public transport in around 20 minutes. For those who would prefer to walk the whole way the journey takes around 50 minutes via the Greenwich Foot Tunnel.

Properties at Charters Wharf start at £385,000 for a one-bedroom apartment.
