A man left with serious head injuries after he was attacked in Woolwich is likely to spend Christmas in hospital.
Greenwich Police are appealing for information following the attack at around 5am on Friday, October 18.
The man in his 40s, was in Artillery Row, outside a car dealer firm when he was attacked in the street, causing him to fall to the floor.
He has been in hospital ever since that evening and there is no indication he will be released before Christmas.
Now pictures of four people - three men and a woman - who police would like to speak to in connection with the incident have been issued.
Detective Sergeant Patrick Wilmann, from Greenwich CID, said: “We would like to encourage anyone who recognises the people in the pictures to call us in the strictest confidence.”
Anyone with information should call Greenwich CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
